Many might be aware but there is a junk yard just after you cross the railroad on 122 South going out of Eaton. Its inside the city limits. Those vehicles have been sitting there for a long time and must be leaking fluids into the ground.
Is it legal to have that place inside the city limits? Its such an eyesore along with the two houses that are next to the junkyard. Whats up with that mess? Tires, windows, appliances laying all around the place along with God knows what else.
Can't the city make the owners clean that up? Why do they allow it? Its a mess.

Dear taxpayer, unfortunately it is an eye sore, however i am assuming that you are speaking of a property directly across from the fairgrounds ? Not sure, but the fairgrounds have storage units. Have been broke into and occupants were told by EPD that it was in Sheriff's district..Therefore, out of city limits. So it is possible that your red eyes will not clear easily. Sympathy to thr Taxpayer.
